ROSEMOOR Gardens will play host to an exhibition of photographs by members of Okehampton Camera Club from now until December 7.
Graham Brown, secretary of Okehampton Camera Club, said: 'This is the second year our members have exhibited some of their favourite images at Rosemoor.
'We hope our photographs, on a wide range of subjects, give pleasure to the Rosemoor visitors.
'We also hope the exhibition raises the profile of the club and encourages new members.
'Our members have a range of abilities so no-one should feel put off from joining the club as there is plenty of opportunity for all our members to learn and develop.'
The exhibition at Rosemoor includes wildlife photography, sea and city scenes as well as 'mood' images, showing what can be achieved with the most basic of cameras as well as the more advanced models.
The club meets fortnightly between September and June in All Saints Church Hall on Market Street. It holds regular workshops on photography of all types, with internal competitions and forums designed to help members improve their techniques, including in prints and digital projected images.
Expert speakers are invited to talk on various aspects of photography and it visits other camera clubs from time to time to engage in friendly competitions as well as taking part in more prestigious regional competitions. New members are always welcome.
