ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club members contested a competition with a 'twist.'

The front nine consisted of a greensome Stableford and the back nine a four ball better ball Stableford. The winners of division one were Gareth Holt and John Whitehouse with 44 points; second were Rod Wright and Ray Stevens with 40 while third were Matt Mills and Michael Hern. In fourth came the pairing of Lee Pengelly and Alan Searle with 38 on the back nine.
Division two was won by Terry Steer and Pete Grimley with 42 points. Second were Ray Grey and Bob Collett with 40 points; third were Lewis Parry and Richard Goodger with 39 points on the back nine from Roger and Liz Slee who came fourth.
