IN the first half the match was an even contest leaving the score at 5-3 to North Tawton from a try by David Fewings and a penalty kick by Plympton Victoria.

In the second period Tawton extended their lead early on with a try for Ian Perrott following a forward break, converted by Fewings. This was followed by two tries for Fewings and a final try for wing Tom Chisholm. The extra points came from the boot of Fewings. The result takes them three points clear of Topsham in the Devon ones ranking.

This sets the scene for the Devon one Plate final to be played between these two sides on Saturday at Taw Meadows, when Tawton are hopeful of rounding off a good season in style.
