JAZZ band Homesick Gypsy and two members of indie-folk group Beartown Zodiac are among the acts lined up for Okehampton Acoustic Club this month.
Homesick Gypsy play vibrant gypsy jazz with folk and blues influences. The group is based in Dorset and plays gigs across the region.
Beartown Zodiac's David Bird-Hawkins on vocal and guitar and Alison Jay on violin and synth have a range of influences including Blur, Super Furry Animals, Ells, and Sparklehorse.
Maddy, a gifted singer and songwriter will also perform. Having studied music performance at Brighton University, she has influences from a range of genres including indie, pop, folk and acoustic funk.
The club's hosts and founders Troubadour's Garden will also perform a set.
The meeting takes place in the Ockment Centre on Saturday, June 8.
Doors open at 7.30pm. Entry costs £2.50 per person, and people are asked to bring their own refreshments.
