A NEW tradition could be starting in Inwardleigh this June thanks to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Inwardleigh cricket field will host the first Inwardleigh and Folly Gate country fair on Saturday June 2 at 2pm to celebrate the Jubilee weekend.

The fair will be officially opened by Hannah Waterman, and has a full programme of events that includes a novelty dog show, ferret racing, a tug of war competition and other attractions including a bar and music.

All are welcome to attend the fair, which organisers are looking to make an annual event.
