Okehampton 0

ISCA A 0

OKEHAMPTON's final friendly saw them host a extremely talented ISCA side and the game turned out to be a very interesting one.

The vistors enjoyed a lot of possession but lacked a cutting edge. The hosts however managed to create more scoring opportunities over their opponents but failed to take any of them.

Defenders Luke Liversidge, John Jarvis and Martin Jones along with goalie Andy Harvey repelled everything that was thrown at them and the outstanding Greg Williams was there to help out on more then one occasion.

At the other end Rob Hall attempted a flick at goal only to see it blocked by his own captain Mark Parsons, who then intercepted a pass and reverse sticked it just off the outside of the post.

With the away side controlling the tempo and play, Okehampton reshuffled their formation and this work to stop the exeter side creating chances but also effected their own attacking options, limiting their own chances to minimal numbers.

The second half didnt change and carried on the same way the first half had gone, neither team looking likely to score.

Williams found Parsons who couldnt get his shot away without the defender getting a block in and at the other end Okehampton's defence continued to break down every attack.

This was a good final warm up for their new league campaign and Okehampton will be positive and confident after a fantastic pre-season.

Next week Okehampton host Bridgwater A at 1pm.
