THE smell of mulled wine and mince pies will waft through Hatherleigh Community Centre on November 20 during a Christmas shopping evening.

The town's Unity Gospel Choir will provide music, and the fundraising evening is being organised and hosted by Hatherleigh Pre-School's parent committee.

The event culminates in a Christmas grand draw, with a cash prize, days out and a Christmas hamper up for grabs.

The evening runs from 6.30pm to 9pm.
