IN the Okehampton Netball league the final matches of the league took place on Tuesday, for some teams to secure their place at the top for others to confirm their place in the league below.
In division two Hotshots finished their season with another convincing win with some great netball. Bradford Belles rallied in the last quarter but had left it too late and Hotshots won 42-21.
In the first division match between FBI and Hi-Line, FBI started the better team. The defence kept Hi-Line's shooters out and Hi-Line seemed unsettled. In the second quarter Hi-Line did pull away and continued to build on their lead despite some excellent netball from FBI. The match finished with Hi-Line winning the match 49-23; a score that did not ultimately reflect the match.
The final league positions and presentation of awards will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 7pm when the annual meeting takes place at Okehampton Rugby Club.
