A COMMUNITY charity aimed at helping people in need of help due to age, illness or disability is to hold its annual coffee morning to help people find out more about its excellent work.
The coffee morning will give people the opportunity to meet Morecare-Chagford volunteers and find out about the wonderful help the charity provides.
Morecare-Chagford was set up in 2004 after a local group became aware of the number of people in the community who needed help.
Volunteers give whatever proportion of their time they feel they are able to spare in order to help and support residents of the Whiddon parishes and residents of other parishes registered at Chagford Health Centre.
No regular commitment is required, and new volunteers are always welcome, especially drivers to take people to medical appointments.
The coffee morning will be held on Saturday April 2 between 10am and mid-day at Endecott House, Chagford.
