With leaves falling off the trees, it is again the time of year for the 'Autumn Autojumble' at Hatherleigh Market.
The event is organised by the Devon Vintage Car Club, and will take place on Sunday October 9 from 9am. It provides a great chance for car enthusiasts to find spares for older cars.
Spokesperson for DVCC, Anil Koshti said: 'Our well supported Autojumbles are very popular. They provide a great day out for all car enthusiasts who wish to strike a bargain and seek to acquire that hard to find spare part.'
Stalls will be held both indoor and outdoors, with refreshments available. The proceeds from this year's spring and autumn autojumble along with other DVCC fundraisers will be donated to St Luke's Hospice, Plymouth. Last year the group's efforts raised more than £3,000 for the Erme Valley Riding for the Disabled.
DVCC was started by enthusiasts in 1968 and was initially named the Pre-49 Car Club. It was renamed Devon Vintage Car Club in 1970 and now has over 200 members.
The main aims of the club are to bring together those whose interest is preserving, restoring and using old vehicles.
Members own and run cars dating back to the 1910s including Ford Model Ts, Morris, Riley, Wolsleys,, MGs, Austins and Triumphs. Some of the cars have been used in TV series, including Inspector Poirot.
Entry to the event costs £2.
