OKEHAMPTON band First Requiem has narrowly missed out on winning a big music competition in the Midlands.

After competing in the first two heats and reaching the final, First Requiem just missed out on the top place in the Totally Different Battle of the Bands in Birmingham.

First Requiem is determined to continue on the road to success by preparing for the area final of the Live and Unsigned competition at the Beck Theatre in London on Sunday, May 2, where they will battle for a place in the national grand final at the O2 stadium.
