FIRE crews were called to reports of a forklift on fire in a warehouse on Thursday, May 10.

Three engines from North Tawton and Okehampton along with a hydraulic platform from Exeter were mobilised to a forklift on fire within a building at the Gregory Distribution Centre in North Tawton.

The fire was out on arrival of the crews but the truck was severely damaged by the fire.

The warehouse was not affected.

The crews used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to dampen down the fire.
