New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Torridge’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Pattard Restaurant, at Pattard Farm, Hartland, Bideford, Devon was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 17.

And Pig And Olive, at 1 Pebbleridge Road, Westward Ho!, Bideford, Devon was given a score of three on October 26.

It means that of Torridge's 114 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 98 (86%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
