OKEHAMPTON businesses are invited to a free seminar next week to learn how to reduce their tax.

Mary Jane Campbell and Jean-Paul Quertier will cover subjects such as trading structures for farmers and other owner-managed businesses, managing capital allowances from April 2012 and details of the new holiday letting tax rules.

Mary-Jane Campbell said: 'Our seminar will focus on giving sound, practical advice on ways in which tax burdens can be reduced. Attendees at the seminar will learn how best to manage their expenditure for maximum benefit and to save money in these difficult economic times.'

The seminar, in the White Hart Hotel on Thursday, October 4 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, hosted by accountancy firm Simpkins Edwards, is open to all businesses and individuals.
