IT was the busiest Sunday yet at Hallwood Farm, Petrockstowe, when the gates were opened to the public for its annual local farming and food extravaganza.

It gave veg box customers and regular visitors to the farm shop in Okehampton an opportunity to see where the food comes from and learn about how it is produced.

From helping to feed the pigs, sheep and cattle spare veg waste to tucking into toffee apples and hot pork rolls, there was much fun to be had.
