THE 2016 Albaston Fete kicked off in style last Saturday (June 25) with fun for all the family on offer all day on the Millenium Green in the village.

There were events and entertainments for all to enjoy, including a children’s activity tent, which had a seaside theme, vintage vehicles to peruse, bouncy castles, WI tea tent, a hog roast, Star Wars costume group and Children’s Hospice South West fundraisers Southern Troopers and many various stalls and side shows entertaining the crowds all day.

The fete raised money for several local charities.
