THE fun of the farm came to Specsavers Okehampton recently, to raise money for Children's Hospice South West. The branch staged a farm-themed fundraiser event for the charity while dressing up as farmers. The store wanted to create a fun atmosphere and encourage customers and children to come in and have their eyes tested and donate to a great cause.  Kath Dandy, store director at Specsavers Okehampton, said: 'We had great fun dressing up during the week and managed to raise £65 for the charity. The hospice plays such a vital role in the local community and we felt extremely privileged to support it.' Naomi Dymond, community fundraiser for Children's Hospice South West, said: 'We were absolutely delighted to work with Specsavers and were very grateful for their support. The team looked brilliant dressed up as farmers and managed to raise a brilliant sum of money for the hospice.' Children's Hospice South West helps and supports children with life-limiting conditions and the charity is almost entirely funded by voluntary donations.
