Cllr Christine Marsh, who supports the project, said: 'The Gateway Garden is looking absolutely wonderful. Everyone involved, including Beth and Jim, have worked so hard on the project and making it become a reality. It is so good to see something so positive for the town get the go-ahead and get so much support. The effect created by the gate and the mural is stunning, and so striking.'

The Gateway Garden is now open for people to enjoy as they walk and drive past.
