IN the run-up to the main festival this summer, Hatherleigh Festival Comedy Club will present an evening of entertainment this month.

The event, which is in association with Avalon Entertainment, will headline Ray Peacock, a regular on the London circuit who has also taken solo shows to Edinburgh Festival.

Mr Peacock has appeared on ITV'S, Harry Hill's TV Burp and The 11 O'clock Show on Channel 4.

Support act, Jen Brister, who is a BBC New Comedy Award semi- finalist and is fast developing a reputation as one of the most exciting emerging stand ups, will also be performing.

The event will be hosted by regular at Edinburgh Festival, Ed Gamble.

Mr Gamble has also performed in Frank Skinner's Credit Crunch Cabaret.

Anyone over 18 is welcome to come along and enjoy the entertainment, which promises to have a cracking line up.

Tickets cost £10 and are available from Hatherleigh Pottery and the Paper Shop. Guests are advised to buy their tickets as soon as possible.
