Plym valley thirds 0
Okehampton took control of the game right from the off, with plenty of players surging forward to press the visiting opposition.
Plym responded with a few successful runs, but Nicola Stoneman and Meg Higgs, backed up by great tackling by defenders Nettie Collette and Katie Adams meant that few attacks threatened to the Oke goal. The scoring was opened when Oke were awarded a short corner which Tara Davidson duly converted with a superb top "D" strike. Plym were dangerous on the break but could not get past goalkeeper Shannon Osman and clearances from Adams and Collette. Following a short corner Oke increased their lead when captain Sophie Whiteley pushed the ball out to Brieze Read who returned to Whiteley who scored with a strong sweep into the far corner. At the break the score was 2-0 but this soon increased when Whiteley completed her hat-trick following a pass from player of the match Amanda Sim.
It was Sim who pounced on a loose ball in the D and slammed it into the net for a well deserved first goal. This was followed a few minutes later after a bouncing pass from Whiteley found Sim who expertly deflected the ball around the keeper and into the net. Right before the close, a penetrating pass from Sim came to Annette Goswell on the post who's shot was touched on by the keeper but rolled over the line into the goal.
