AN organic farmer and online supplier of grass-fed organic meat boxes based at Bratton Clovelly has struck gold at the Taste of the West Awards 2014. The family-run organic farm, butchery and meat box business has just secured a gold award for its organic chicken breasts and silver awards for its organic pork sausages and organic lamb noisette joint. Eversfield Organic has been winning Taste of the West prizes since 2005. The company is owned and run by two generations of the Bury family, all of whom are dedicated to the 'farm to fork' ethos of the business. Mark is the owner, daughter Anna is marketing director and son Hamish is production director. Anna said: 'We're thrilled to have won these awards. 'We're particularly pleased with the silver for our sausages where we've made some changes in response to feedback from our customers, and it seems the judges like them as much as our customers. 'It's great to have this recognition from the Taste of the West Awards.'
