WEST Devon Connect's outreach surgery will join Hatherleigh Market to showcase a selection of organisations, including, NHS Devon Stop Smoking Service and sports development projects across West Devon.

The event will be held on Tuesday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 18 from 9.30am-noon at Hatherleigh Market.

Specialist stop smoking advisors will provide information and advice on giving up, and measure carbon monoxide levels in individuals. The support is free and help will be given to access stop smoking medication on prescription.

West Devon Borough Council's sports development officer and representatives from the More Active, More Often project will be there to help individuals and communities discover the benefits of regular activity.

A council customer service advisor and another from the Citizens Advice Bureau will be available to help with council and many other public services.
