RESIDENTS in the Sourton area can now make use of a brand new kitchen at the village's parish hall.

The hall commitee last week invited everyone who helped to establish the new facility to celebrate its completion.

Committee chairman Geraldine Jury welcomed and thanked Devon County Cllr Christine Marsh, Sizzeys Plumbing, Dee Jackson electrician, Andy Talory from Howdens who designed the kitchen, the Rotary club, Okehampton Glass, Sourton Commoners, Telecare Electrics, which lent the hall a fridge until the new one arrrived, Sourton Parish Council, Okehampton Lions, Keven Pedrick and Ian, volunteers who put the kitchen together, Okehampton Lions, Roger Alford, and Jack Jury and Jeff Boxall.

The hall is well equipped for all events.
