THE team at Okehampton's Specsavers are doing their bit for Red Nose Day by selling comedy glasses and attempting a charity bike ride.
Visitors to Specsavers can make their faces funny for money with Red Nose Day glasses in small or large sizes, for just £3 with £1 donated to Comic Relief.
Karen Reader, store director of Specsavers Okehampton, said: 'We've got loads of activities planned in Okehampton to make this year's Red Nose Day as fun as possible.
'Comic Relief does fantastic work and we're keen to support this with our fundraising.'
Staff will be putting the pedal to the metal between March 11 and March 13, as they attempt to cycle 100 miles on an exercise bike in store and invite customers to join in. From March 2, staff will also take photos of customers pulling their funniest faces wearing the wacky glasses for a chance to win £100 glasses voucher.
Specsavers in Okehampton has joined Specsavers stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.
