RHS Rosemoor will be welcoming visitors to a series of events this month as part of 'Grow Your Own' weekend on March 23 and 24.

The gardens will welcome visitors to a series of workshops, demonstrations and tastings aimed at anyone interested in growing and cooking their own food, from children and beginners to green-fingered specialists.

Gardeners interested in edible crops can join one of the guided walks around the Rosemoor fruit and vegetable garden or join a tour of the new teaching garden, including demonstrations and talks on how to manage a polytunnel.

These walks are free but ticketed as spaces are limited. Tickets are available on arrival.

The terrace marquee will host local smallholders who will be bringing along live animals and poultry as well as giving informal talks and advice. Cookery demonstrations with seasonal produce will also take place, followed by tastings.

Throughout the weekend there will be drop-in family sowing-and-growing workshops in the Peter Buckley Learning Centre, and spring trails for children.
