THE Okehampton Friendly Circle held its annual harvest festival in the Charter Hall on October 4.

Chair of the group Pat Squires opened the meeting by welcoming the members before hymns and accordion music.

Ray Vallance conducted the auction for the harvest goods donated by members. There was a wide range of produce including fruit baskets, vegetables and tinned goods. The committee expressed thanks to everyone who donated goods, took part in the auction or gave monetary donations.

The next Friendly Circle meeting takes place on Tuesday November 1, with a talk about the Penlee lifeboat disaster.
