NORTH Tawton Patient Participation Group has announced a community 'Healthy Living' day in April.

North Tawton Town Hall will host the event on Saturday, April 26 with a number of health providers attending to encourage adopting a healthier lifestyle. Among those in attendance are Taw Valley Dental Practice, British Heart Foundation, North Tawton's bowls and rugby clubs, Wallingbrook Health Group and the Okehampton Walk and Talk group.

The event is free, and there will be light refreshments. Doors open at 9.30pm and the event runs until noon.
