A YEAR of fundraising by staff with Lyndridge Care and Made-Well has raised a magnificent £3,670 for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
Lyndridge Care run a range of services caring for the elderly, including a day centre, support services and community programmes.
Staff decided to raise money for the Devon Air Ambulance through open days at the day centre, as well as coffee mornings and other fundraising events.
Lyndridge also has links to Made-Well, a not for profit company that promotes healthy lifestyles, a better appreciation and understanding of food, and home-grown foods. They raised money through a craft evening, a children's party and other events.
Collecting the cheque for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust was Mike Date. He said: 'Money like this really helps out the charity. Over the course of a year, the running costs for the trust are over £4-million.
'It is fundraising like this that keeps the helicopters in the air, and we can't thank everyone at Lyndridge Care and Made-Well enough for their support.'
