THE Actors of North Tawton Society —ANTS — will be holding auditions for their pantomime production of 'Treasure Island', which will be held in February 2012.

On Sunday July 10 at North Tawton Town Hall, ANTS will be holding auditions for main characters as well as the chorus.

Those wanting to audition are asked to prepare their own song and bring a backing CD.

ANTS will also be holding dancing auditions in the near future. Auditions are held from 2pm to 4pm. All adults and young adults from Year 11 upwards are welcome to audition.

The pantomime promises to be a funny twist on the classic adventure novel by Robert Louis Stevenson about deceptive pirates and buried treasure, which was first published in 1883.
