A SLOW start from both sides saw little goal scoring chances inside the opening quarter of an hour, the visitors finally found their feet with some good flowing hockey as they started to press.

They opened the scoring from a short corner when Nick Luxton beat two players before thumping the ball into the bottom corner.

The hosts responded but a brilliant tackle and pass from John Jarvis found Mark Parsons just inside the opponents half and he ran through and calmly rounded the keeper and slotted home the second.

Parsons was then left unmarked to reverse sweep home after Joff Stephens found him with an excellent pass.

The home side pulled a goal back just before half time to keep them in it. Shortly after the interval Torbay scored again to really open the game back up. But from a short corner Parsons this time smashed home to swing the match back in the away sides favour, with an excellent pass from Chris Luxton allowing man of the match Brett Lawson to place the ball into the roof of the goal.

Lawson added his second for Oke, putting his shot into the corner after another Stephens pass. Torbay scored another before Stephens completed the scoring. Man of the match for Okehampton was Brett Lawson
