J STREET Diner in Okehampton has raised more than £350 at a charity fundraiser held last weekend.

The money raised will be donated to Worldwide Cancer Research and Exeter based cancer charity FORCE. ‘It was an absolutely brilliant weekend,’ said owner Jan Halpin. ‘We are still tallying up the donations and money made from selling cakes. We will have the final total next weekend but so far we’ve raised around £350. ‘The event was fantastic and we would like to say a huge thank you to all of our customers for their support, we are very grateful!’
