THE Okehampton U3A hold their latest meeting today (Thursday) with guest speaker Pam Kemp discussing 'The Seychelles, Above and Below the Waves'.
Pam is a semi-professional photographer with a number of exhibitions to her name, publishing work on a regular basis.
She lived in the Seychelles for three years and taught scuba diving.
She will discuss the flora, fauna and marine life of these unique islands.
Lying just four degrees south of the equator around 1,000 miles off the coast of Eastern Africa, the inner islands are the only mid-oceanic granitic islands in the world, with the outer islands low lying sand islands.
The combination makes for a fascinating collection of wildlife.
The meeting takes place at the Ockment Centre at 2.30pm.
All are welcome to attend.
