I HAVE just read in your paper's letters column 'Train it to use your garden — not mine'. I know it is true because I have dear friends in Bude who trained their cat.

My friend is blind and he does a lot of work in his garden.

He was forever getting his hands dirty with other people's cats' poo, so please train your cat, it is possible.
