A WOMAN from Basingstoke is on the hunt for her best friend from school, and is appealing to the Okehampton community for help. Jackie Terry from Basingstoke is on the look-out for Louise Collins, who moved from Basingstoke to Okehampton with her family in or around 1985, and the pair slowly fell out of contact. Efforts to find Louise on Facebook and social media have proven fruitless. Jackie is due to get married in September to her fiancé Tony, and Louise has been in her thoughts more and more in the build-up to the big day. Jackie said: 'I've been thinking about her even more with the build up to the wedding as I'm actually marrying a man from our senior school, who I got back in touch with after our school reunion four years ago. 'I was best buddies with Louise in junior school, which was Winklebury Junior School. We then went on to senior school in 1985, where Louise then left to move to Okehampton. 'We stayed in contact but as years went on I had my first child at 20, then went on to have three more, and we lost touch. 'I own a chartering business now and have a massive circle of friends, all still from my school years but I do still think of Louise, wondering what ever happened to her and her family. 'I am very keen to get back in touch as we had some really funny times as kids. I would be so interested to see what she's done with her life, whether she's married, had kids, or travelled.' Jackie remembers that Louise had an older brother, and younger twin sisters.
