OKEHAMPTON Library will celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with a week of half-term activities for families and youngsters.

On Saturday June 2 between 10.15am and 12.15pm, the library will hold a drop-in session based on the picture book 'The Queen's Knickers' by Nicholas Allen, with stories and crafts to design the Queen a new pair of knickers.

On Friday, June 8 at 10.15am, parents, carers and children aged eight and over can take part in a free two-hour session to make bunting. Booking for this session is essential.

Throughout the whole half-term week, children and their parents and carers can join in a fun hunt around the library to find some of the Queen's favourite things. All correct entries will be entered into the hat, with prizes for two lucky winners.
