A DAY of fundraising was enjoyed by residents of Bridestowe at the village hall last Saturday week.

The day began with a combination of the hall's annual jumble sale and monthly bacon baps. In the evening the 'Big Quiz' was hosted by Graham Crocker and his team of helpers. The event was well attended with 22 teams taking part. During the interval a buffet was provided and there was a raffle of small prizes. The day raised £888 for the Bridestowe Hall funds.

The hall management committee expressed thanks to Graham Crocker and his team, all who gave up their time to help and all who supported the event.
