FAMILY fundraising group Kaleb’s Thumbprint will be holding a garage sale, cream tea and prize raffle to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
Kaleb’s Thumbprint will be holding its first of many fundraising events at 13 Butts Way, North Tawton, this Saturday (August 20).
The event will take place from 2pm to 4pm and all money raised will go towards Children’s Hospice South West.
Local man Luke Compton sadly lost his 18-month-old son Kaleb last year because of a life-limiting condition.
After Kaleb sadly passed away, Luke and his family from North Tawton have made it their mission to raise funds for CHSW — the charity who supported them through Kaleb’s condition.
The Compton family recently founded Kaleb’s Thumbprint, which is a family run group dedicated to raising funds and awareness.
Luke said: ‘We hope that everyone in North Tawton will join us to help raise as many funds as possible for CHSW.
‘We wanted to raise funds for the charity because of its work with life-limited children and their families and we hope the event will be a great success.’
CHSW cares for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. The care it offers is wide ranging, CHSW provides respite and short breaks, emergency care, palliative care as well as end of life care.
