The winner of Division two was Adrian Tilley with 43 points from John Gillard with 40; third was Eddie Moriarty with 38 points. Division three was won by Fred Scott-Lawson with 39 points from Lewis Parry on 38 while third was Steve Gregory with 37 points on the back nine.
Despite some poor weather, Okehampton Golf Club's Junior Championship went ahead as planned last Sunday. Played over 36 holes, the morning's scoring reflected the conditions with Robin Grey, leading the field with a 75 — seven shots clear of Chris Baxendale, and Jonny Rattenbury.
The second round saw improvement in the scoring with the low round of the day coming from Jonny Rattenbury who, despite bogey eight on the sixth managed a level par round of 68 to tie with Robin, who again scored a creditable 75, leaving them both with a total of 150 and forcing a play off. This was played on Thursday with Jonny's 74 pipped Robin's 76 to win him the championship for the second year in a row.
