CLASSIC Fords will come to Roadford Lake on Saturday, September 1 as part of the first Roadford Car Rally.
Organised by Classic Ford South West, more than 40 car owners have already signed up to arrive at Roadford Lake to share their passion for their classic cars, and for lovers of three wheels, several trikes will take their place at the car rally.
Among the cars on show throughout the day are a very special 1921 Foden steam wagon and a Ford Zephyr used in Emmerdale.
The day starts at 10am, and also offers fairground rides, a car boot sale, and refreshments from the Roadford Café. Entrance to the rally is free but usual parking charges apply.
The event will support Children's Hospice South West. Organiser Dave Glover said: 'Classic Fords South West have chosen to support the Children's Hospice as it's a very worthwhile local cause. We are a family run car club for all Ford lovers across the South West, so it seemed a perfect choice. We are extremely grateful to South West Lakes Trust for allowing us to use their wonderful location for our car rally.'
