Music was provided by Brian Higbee and the Rev John Davies, team vicar, spoke about the history of the church and the aims of 'The Friends', and membership forms were available for people wishing to sign up.
Membership of The Friends of St Bridget's Church costs £6 and is open to anyone interested in contributing to the future of the church and its place in the village and its community.
Membership application forms are available to collect and deposit in Bridestowe Post Office and every member will be invited to the inaugural meeting of the new organisation on
Wednesday, January 17 in the church at 7.30pm.
