THE North Tawton branch of the Royal British Legion is celebrating a special anniversary this weekend.

The branch is celebrating its 90th anniversary, having been established in 1922. After all that time the branch is still going strong, and members are holding a special 'birthday party' to commemorate the event.

A Chelsea Pensioner will attend the party, and there is much more in store on the day. All are welcome to attend the party, from 2pm to 6pm in North Tawton Town Hall.
