Having won the toss the Blues elected to field. Leon Horn took a wicket in his first over and Nick Smith took two in his first over.
Wickets continued to tumble with Fin Beldon 2, Morgan Scott 1 and Smith finishing with 4, ably supported by four run outs and fine keeping from Jacob Jones left Yelverton on just 206 after their 20 overs.
In reply the Lewdown batters were steady. Defending the good balls and putting away the bad balls. Smith with 18 and Adam Creasey with 14 were the main contributors to a good total of 251, with a winning margin of 45 runs.
