THE theme of 'What makes a good community?' will be running through the new 'Life and Lunch' sessions taking place at Fairplace Church, Okehampton.

Launching in the autumn, the sessions provide a meeting point for people to share in conversation or to get involved with playing games and putting together jigsaw puzzles. This is followed by a light lunch.

It has become a meeting point for older people from the area, though all age groups are welcome to attend.

The new sessions of Life and Lunch start on Thursday, January 29 from 10am to 1pm in Fairplace Church. After that session they will run on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. For more information call Alan on 01837 54397 or Bobby on 01837 54300.
