THE Lifton Cottage Garden Society and WI 35th Village Show was held last Saturday at Lifton Church Hall.
It proved to be a most successful and enjoyable event for all concerned. This year it attracted 69 exhibitors, the most for many years, and they entered 300 exhibits of the usual high standard.
During the afternoon a large crowd gathered to view the exhibits, staying on to see who had won the cups.
