THERE will be bargains galore at a big street market being held in Chagford next month.

Chagford branch of Cancer Research UK will be holding the annual fundraising event on Saturday, August 3 between 9am and noon in the town square.

On offer will be cakes, plants, nearly new clothes, books, bric-a-brac, and much more.

Visitors can also try their luck on the tombola, or buy tickets to win prizes in the grand draw. There will also be a barbecue running from 10am.

During the afternoon there will be a bumper jumble sale in the Jubilee Hall, with many more bargains to be found.
