THE Inwardleigh and Folly Gate Country Fair promises a great day out for the family on Saturday, June 21. Taking place at the Barton, Inwardleigh, there will be plenty to keep people entertained, including a dog show, dog agility, children's sports, bouncy castle, ferret racing, vintage and historic machinery, skittle competition and entertainment. There will also be craft stalls and charity stalls in attendance, and a cookery and craft section. Show schedules are still available. Competitive souls can take part in a clay pigeon shoot and tug of war competition. The country fair committee has an open meeting planned for June 18 at the Crossways Inn in Folly Gate at 8pm, for anyone who would like to find out more and potentially help with the event.
