THERE was another sighting of one of Okehampton's more recent, but most welcome, feathered residents.
Following the article on the back page of last week's Times about the rosy-faced lovebird parrot seen in Dave Potter's garden, another sighting of the colourful creature has been reported.
Paul Rendell told the Times that he saw it in his garden near Okehampton railway station on June 25.
No doubt the migratory bird is hoping to board a train to his native Namib Desert in South West Africa. It might be here some time!
However, the probability is that it is someone's lost pet.
