LADIES from North Tawton Women's Institute group took part in a midnight walk last month, to raise funds for Hospiscare.

The seven and a half mile circular walk started from Exmouth Rugby Club and more than 900 ladies followed a well-planned route through the town and back along the sea front.

The North Tawton WI were represented by a group of seven ladies at the event, each wearing a colourful lei and hula skirt as they completed their fundraising walk.

Exmouth rugby team were on hand to help the walkers warm up when on their return the ladies were met with a welcome cup of tea and a bacon bap.
