THERE will be murder and mystery at Belstone this month — but don't call the police . . .
It will all be part of Belstone Players' latest production, which takes place from Wednesday March 28 to Saturday March 31.
The amateur dramatic group will present two one-act plays and a two-course supper at Belstone Village Hall.
The two plays are a murder mystery, 'The Offence', by Diana Raffle, and 'A Cut in the Rates' by Alan Ayckbourn, originally written for a televison documentary to show the production process of a play.
Chairperson Edwina Hill is happy with preparations: 'There's still three weeks to go, so as you might expect there have been a few hiccups along the way, but for the most part, things are going really well.
'Tickets are selling well for all nights so far, and we hope we can fill out the hall each night of the production.
'It has been fun organising things and getting prepared, and we are all looking forward to opening night.'
There will be a bar, open from 7pm each night, with curtains up at 7.30pm.
Tickets costs £10 each from Marion Walpole on 01837 840498.
