THE museum of Dartmoor Life in Okehampton is asking people’s views before it reopens to visitors.

People who enjoy visiting the museum are being asked to fill in a survey via the museum’s Facebook page.

A museum spokesperson said: ‘We are ready to welcome our visitors back to the museum and visitor information point but there is more work to be done before we can reopen. A lot of preparation has been going on behind the scenes to ensure that your visit is safe and enjoyable for all in the museum.

‘Whilst we do not yet have a date to open we would really appreciate your input to ensure that when you visit you feel comfortable and happy.’

The museum has also been asking people in the area to share their experiences of living through the Covid-19 lockdown, with a view to creating a lasting record in the museum archives. These can be sent by email to [email protected] or dropped in in person to the museum on West Street.
